Chartered Chemical Engineer with over 24 years technical and commercial experience in the international oil, gas and electricity sectors. Managing Director of ICHOR. Previous experience with various engineering companies (Global, Worley, McDermott, Ewbank Preece) as well as National Power, BP and Baker Jardine.  
     
Robert Kleinsmann

B.E., M.E. (Mechanical Engineering), University of Auckland. Member of the Institute of Professional Engineers of New Zealand. Also holds Dutch HTS (Ing) degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Industrial Economics & Management. 20 years power engineering, electricity generation project management, business development and technical/commercial advisory experience in the electricity industry world-wide. Particular expertise in Independent Power Projects (IPPs). Previously with Mott Ewbank Preece, the Electricity Corporation of New Zealand and Stork Boilers. Associate Director of ICHOR.  
 
John Blair
B.Sc. (Electrical Engineering), A.C.G.I., Imperial College, London. Chartered Electrical Engineer (F.I.E.E.) specialising in power transmission and distribution systems. Former Technical Director of British Electricity International Ltd. and also Manager, Planning & Design, for SCECO Central Region, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. 25 years experience with the UK CEGB, pursuant to which he has spent some 14 years carrying out consultancy assignments embracing investment evaluations, utility restructuring and efficiency, audit/due diligence and provision of specialist support to regulators' offices.  
 
John Bowers
B.Sc. (Gas Engineering), University of Salford. Chartered Gas Engineer with 35 years international engineering and consultancy experience gained with British Gas, Bord Gáis Éireann and various engineering companies. Expertise in planning, design, construction, operation and maintenance of gas transmission and distribution pipeline systems, regulating stations, compressor stations, LPG storage and distribution, allied with project management, supervisory and commissioning skills, cost control and contract management. Considerable recent experience in techno-economic/feasibility studies, asset valuations, market design and regulatory advice.  
 
Grant Craik
B.Sc. (Economics), Queen's University, Belfast. Highly experienced energy economist, specialising in demand forecasting, cost-benefit analysis and tariff revues, with particular emphasis on the electricity sector. He has worked on studies both in the private and public sectors, and for diverse clients, from the World Bank and Asian Development Bank to commercial and merchant banks. Most of the studies undertaken have been in developing countries in Asia and Africa, as well as Eastern Europe and the UK.  
 
Paul Hunt

B.A. (Mathematical Science and Economics), M.A. (Economics), University College Cork. Economist with over 15 years experience in the gas sector. Expertise spans market analysis, project evaluations, transportation tariff analysis/ design, and advice on industry restructuring and regulation. Previously worked for NERA, Penspen Economics and Bord Gáis Éireann.  
 
Ian Thomson
M.A., Ph.D. (Electrical Engineering), University of Cambridge. Specialises in the front-end strategic, commercial, institutional and regulatory aspects of gas, oil and power projects. He has advised numerous governments and multinationals on these issues. The first 17 years of his career were spent with BP, latterly managing a number of large oil and gas transportation, storage and supply projects from concept through to operation.

Borthwick
B.Sc. (Zoology & Oceanography), Ph.D. (Oceanography), University College Swansea. Chartered Biologist. Environmental specialist/EARA Principal Auditor with broad background and over 20 years international experience in providing support to industry, government and non-government organisations. Specialist in environmental management procedures, risk, sensitivity & impact assessment, audit & review. He has held senior environmental posts with the Canadian Federal Government, BP International and Sun Oil.  
   
Michael Harris
Planning consultant with 25 years hands-on experience in project planning on major International multi-discipline projects in Power Generation, Petrochem, Process Plant, Mining and Mechanical Handling. Expert Witness and Expert Advisor on a number of High Court actions and International Arbitrations on Combined Cycle and Process Plant projects.
